Detached stone house on two floors (approx. 100sqm), located in a medieval borgo, with stunning views of the mountains.
The local council are currently investing in improving the facilities as it is in an area of special interest and walking tours leave from the nearby square.
The house – with a stable on the ground floor and a kitchen and bedroom on the first floor – has been uninhabited for years; the roof has fallen, but the structural walls (made of stone) are solid; the floor between ground and first level has fallen as well, so, both floor and roof need to be replaced and wiring, plumbing, and sewage have to be completely done.
Proposed Renovation Plan:
2 or 3 bedroomed house
The plan proposes a new layout, with two bedrooms [1, 2] and a bathroom  on the ground floor, and on the first floor a kitchen/dining-room , small living room with fireplace , and a bathroom ;
The house is on a gentle slope, so, on the street side (looking out towards the mountains) – the entrance is on the ground floor, while at the back – overlooking a communal courtyard – the French windows of the kitchen and living room lead directly onto the small back garden and to the communal courtyard itself. The hall on the street side is open from the ground floor to the roof, creating a vertical space [3,7] incorporating two floors, so, from the internal first floor balcony (in front of the stove) you can look down to the front door on the ground floor. The living room, with fireplace, could be converted into a third bedroom.
