FAQ's about our Lake Side View Properties
1) Why are only the house prices in Sterling?
- In the Uk the whole Borgo is being extensively marketed with pound prices.
Because the pound fluctuates against the euros have to keep the English prices so if the euro rises against the pound the amount you pay for the property will not increase.
2) Why are tthere so many of these houses for sale?
- Although it appears there are many house for sale, more than 2 thirds are already lived in. This last third is comprised of sellers who originally emigrated n the 30's 40's & 50'sto America and Australia after more than 9 months of searching HouseAroundItaly has managed to find the legitimate heirs who now wish to sell their properties, most, though not all will be bought direct from Italians.
3) Will I like the location?
- The lake and surrounding areas are very beautiful as you can see in the photographs,.There are various lakes in this area which are near the sea, so even if you do not like the properties in this borgo, there are many others to consider
4) Who would do the restoration ?
- We have english speaking architects builders and project managers for the restoration.
5) Is there any scope for me to have a say in the design of the house?
- This totally depends on which house you buy, some houses everything is up to you, others some of the structural work needs to be done communally, in all cases you will have a say as to how you would like you restructuring done.
