Miglianico Town
This charming, mediaeval town, is perched on a hill-top between two rivers - the Foro and the Dendalo – in the South-East part of the region of Abruzzo. Currently there are just over 4,500 inhabitants, some of whom contribute to the production of the local “Miglianico” wines for which the town is famous.
Lying at 136 metres above sea-level, the town offers fabulous views of the mountains and the sea. Sheltered beneath the Majella mountain and near enough to the coast to benefit from the influence of the Adriatic sea, the town itself is blessed by a microclimate – giving it relatively limited temperature variation throughout the year, with mild Winters and warm Summers.
Historical interest:
Miglianico probably dates back to Roman times, but the town would have grown up in the early mediaeval period around the tenth century castle, which, itself, was probably used by the Normans to defend the Foro valley. The remains of the castle, which was seriously damaged in the second world war, have been rebuilt on and are now inhabited. Even in the later mediaeval, the history of the town isshrouded in mystery as few records remain, though it is believed to have been under the possession of the Orsini family in the fifteenth century and under the Valignani family from Chieti and the Todeschi family from Pianella at the end of the eighteenth century.

Miglianico Golf Course
Miglianico boasts a full 18-hole golf course, suitable for both beginners and professionals, which, thanks to the temperate climate, can be used all year round. On site there is also a swimming-pool, a mini-market, a restaurant and, of course, the “nineteenth hole”, to relax before or after your round. This course will welcome competitors in the 2009 Mediterranean Games in Abruzzo.

The development is located on Miglianico golf course and there are 3 apartment buildings, 2 with six apartments each and one with eight. It is also possible to purchase part of the basement area for apartments on the first floor.
