Venice on Water offers a truly unique holiday experience to its guests. The Luxury 2-bedroomed House Boats berthing in the Marina di Porte Grandi in Quarto d’Altino, accommodate up to six people and are fully furnished and equipped to the highest specifications.
These boats can be used for limited navigation inside the lagoon, for the novice Captain and therefore no pilot’s license is required.A trip to Venice offers an unforgettable glimpse of life’s defining moments played out on watery avenues: be it weddings, carnivals or regattas |

Nikki’s visit to Venice
Our director Nikki di Girolamo went up to Venice to meet the owners of the boat whom she had previously met at a property function in London. She was so impressed with the idea that she went to look for herself. These were her words. I arrived 7 am on a rather foggy morning at the Santa Lucia Station. Coming out of the station was a fabolous view of the Grand Canal covered with mist. I made my way over the bridge to the ”Piazza Italica” where the driver picked me up. After only ten minutes by car we arrived at the “Marina”. I was on time for capuccino and croissants. After breakfast we departed down the river to Venice. It was a beautiful cruise, but as we got near Venice as sometimes happnes in October it became very misty. Below you can see the photo I took from the houseboat when we arrived on the Venetian island. It took us around 45 minutes for the return trip and we went of to eat in a characteristic fish restaurant overlooking the canals. Luckily in the afternoon when we went sightseeing the sun came out as you can see from the photos I took in the afternoon. I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to stay there for 7 days and explore all the water ways, see all the amazing sights and eat at all the characteristic restaurants.
